This was an early effort: <a title=\"Office-Gallery on Studio 360\" href=\"http:\/\/www.studio360.org\/story\/115860-office-gallery\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Office\/Gallery<\/a>, a profile of an artist\/insurance salesman who curated art exhibits in his office on the down low.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Studio 360\" href=\"http:\/\/www.studio360.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Studio 360<\/a>\u00a0re-ran it <a title=\"Office Gallery on Studio 360\" href=\"http:\/\/www.studio360.org\/search\/?q=office+gallery#q=office gallery\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">three times<\/a>. Then I posted it on <a title=\"PRX\" href=\"http:\/\/www.prx.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">PRX<\/a>, which was an online distribution site for pubradio-style audio content, back before there were podcasts.<\/p>\n<p>Fast-forward a few years&#8230; as podcasts bloom and wither, public radio programs are born and die&#8230; Until yesterday, when <a title=\"Office Gallery on Word of Mouth\" href=\"http:\/\/nhpr.org\/post\/12115-defense-office-life-can-we-save-creative-class-necro-streaming\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">my ancient story<\/a>\u00a0ran again, more than a decade later, on New Hampshire Public Radio&#8217;s <a title=\"Word of Mouth NHPR\" href=\"http:\/\/nhpr.org\/programs\/word-mouth\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Word of Mouth<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s nothing like an evergreen package that can run over and over again \u2014 a producer&#8217;s dream! But I probably got paid no more than $400 for that story.
