I went to los Dos Nogales to report this with the border beat reporter. This was back when the AP let packages drone on for 4:13 with two (count ’em, 2!) reporter stand-ups for the right story. That one in front of the courthouse was shot in 109F heat!

I turned this package on a 24-hour deadline, back when AP VJ’s did more stand-ups. But for this package, I didn’t need an excuse!
